| The Pennsylvania Recreation Vehicle & Camping Association, PRVCA, is a nonprofit corporation representing nearly 400 RV dealers, manufacturers, campgrounds, component part suppliers, lenders, insurance and service companies. PRVCA's members are interested in expanding and improving the camping industry in Pennsylvania. The organization is headed by PRVCA chairman, PRVCA chairman, Brad Rhone of Rhone’s Travel Trailers, and PRVCA executive vice president, Rebecca A. Lenington. | | |
| | PRVCA is proud to sponsor the #1 RV Trade/Retail Show in the nation, held annually at the HERSHEYPARK® Entertainment Complex – GIANT CenterSM, in Hershey, PA. Representatives from states east of the Mississippi attend the trade portion of the show and it ranks #11 out of the 200 largest tradeshows in the U.S. and Canada. 59 leading manufacturers and over 100 supplier vendors are represented, bringing 4,500 exhibitor personnel into the area. Public days paid attendance is over 31,700. | |
| Every May PRVCA joins the PA Department of Commerce to promote the many RVing opportunities in the state. Pennsylvania RV and Camping Month and the National RV Open House help to expose the consumers to the benefits of RV ownership and the RV lifestyle. | |

| Pennsylvania is home to around 400 private campgrounds, 40 manufacturers, 237 supplier firms, 111 service operations, 6 distributors and over 526 dealerships. Camping information is the number one request of travelers to Pennsylvania. | |
| Pennsylvania camping and park activities generate more than 75 million dollars annually. PA ranks fourth nationally for the number of RV parks and campsites across the state. With 155 such sites in 1992, Pennsylvania ranks behind only California, Florida and New York. The sites in our state brought in more than $63 million in receipts in 1992 according to PA Township News/April 1997 | |
