In November 2017, Kidde announced a fire extinguisher recall in conjunction with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada. As part of this recall, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has communicated its own recall (NHTSA Recall No. 17E-062) as some of these affected fire extinguishers were used in motor vehicles, including RVs.
