NTP-STAG recently expanded its inventory to include a pet supplies category. Americans will spend more than $70 billion on their pets by year end, according to the company, and those numbers only continue to grow.
“In fact, more and more RVers are traveling with their pets – they’re a big part of the family and accompany their owners everywhere, so there’s a real need for brands and products that make the experience safer and more enjoyable,” said Ron Weatrowski, category manager at NTP-STAG.
The new product selection includes award-winning accessories and safety gear that join outdoor recreation and pet ownership together. DOOG, Kurgo, Dexas, Jascor International, Pets First, and Enjoy It Stickers are the first of many pet supply manufacturers that will be added to NTP-STAG’s line card. Included in the selection are 4- and 8-foot retail planograms, plus freestanding displays to help RV dealers merchandise pet accessories while enhancing the consumer’s shopping experience.
“The addition of a pet supplies category not only increases sales and profitability opportunities for our dealers, but also makes their businesses a destination-type experience for customers,” said Weatrowski. “I’m excited to offer these products to dealers in the RV industry.”
