The Pennsylvania Recreation Vehicle and Camping Association (PRVCA) hosted a live-stream webcast of its annual manufacturer drawing for America’s Largest RV Show space on Wednesday, May 8 at 10 a.m. In previous years, manufacturers traveled to Camp Hill, Pennsylvania to participate in the drawing in person.
“We were excited to utilize web-based technology to make it more convenient and less expensive for manufacturers to draw for their show space,” says Heather Leach, PRVCA executive director. “In past years, manufacturer representatives had to spend time flying to the Harrisburg area to participate in the drawing. The webcast made it easier for all manufacturers exhibiting in the show to log on, witness the drawing and select their space.”
Since all manufacturers want to select the perfect space for their size category and space is limited, PRVCA started a drawing for manufacturer space many years ago. All RV manufacturers participating in the show received the information to participate. A special link took participants to a website, where they viewed the drawing and utilize a chat area. It included a map that highlighted the selection once it was made.
Following the drawing and the manufacturers selection of their space, PRVCA will have a final America’s Largest RV Show layout to share with the manufacturers this week.
