Rebecca “Becky” Lenington, former executive vice president of the Pennsylvania Recreation Vehicle and Camping Association (PRVCA), is among the class of 2018 inductees into the RV/Manufactured Housing Hall of Fame. The dinner ceremony is set for August 6 at the RV/MH Hall of Fame’s Event Center in Elkhart, Indiana.

Lenington’s industry service began when she was a high school ticket taker, which she continued part-time through college. As a homemaker, she served as office show support. In 1978, she joined the Pennsylvania Manufactured Housing/PRVCA full time as an administrative assistant. She earned promotions to office manager, director of administration and eventually PRVCA Executive Vice President under the PMH/PRVCA. When the PRVCA and PMHA separated, she was named Executive Vice President of the newly formed PRVCA. Under her leadership the Pennsylvania RV and Camping Show grew from 79 RVs and a dozen booth vendors to America’s Largest RV Show with more than 1,300 RVs today.

The 2018 Induction Dinner celebration begins at 5:30 p.m. with a cash bar cocktail party, followed by the dinner and induction ceremonies at 6:30 p.m. Friends and colleagues of the inductees and industry members are invited to join the association in honoring these outstanding industry pioneers who have had a major impact on the profession and lives.
