RV Learning Center/KPA Webinar to Examine Fair Labor Standards Act & Pay Issues

Oct 15, 2018 | Member News

(Fairfax, VA) — The Mike Molino RV Learning Center and strategic partner KPA will host a free webinar on Thursday, Oct. 18 at 1:00 p.m. EDT entitled ‘Fair Labor Standards Act & Pay Issues, Special Focus on California Regulations.’ Attendees will learn about legislation impacting pay in California, types of paid time off, and rules for paying employees.

Wage and hour regulations can be complicated, especially for California employers. Not only do employers need to follow federal regulations, but they must also follow state, city, and county wage laws. This can be as simple as posting payday notices in the breakroom and as complicated as calculating an hourly rate for sick time on a piece-rate employee.
