The RV Technical Institute (RVTI) recently hired a trainer. Mike Curl will join the RV Industry Association and RV Technical Institute, where he’ll train new technicians and provide expertise on developing the technical training curriculum.
Curl has more than 30 years of experience in design engineering, sales and technical field training. He served as a judge for the 2017 Top Tech Challenge. He will work with RVIA’s education team to design the institute’s curriculum, credential levels, certification, training length, skill level paths, skills assessments, resources for continuing education, and the development and implementation of a learning management system.
He joins RVIA/RVTI Trainer Mike Anderson in developing the new training program in Elkhart, Indiana. After the program opens, Curl will also travel to dealer locations nationwide to offer registered technician training and serve as an ambassador for RVTI’s regional partnership programs.
