RESTON, Va. — The 2019 RV Industry Awards, held during RVX: The RV Experience on March 14 in Salt Lake City, UT, will feature the first-ever RVBusiness supplier awards recognizing innovation and supplier excellence (RISE). The RVBusiness RISE Awards, will honor the best and most innovative new products marketed by RV industry component suppliers for the upcoming 2019 model year.

“In the interest of providing suppliers with a seat at the table at RVX and other events, we’ll be introducing these new awards in Utah next spring and, of course, we plan on doing the same in subsequent years as RVX moves to different venues around the country each year,” said Gregg Fore, a partner and chief revenue officer for G&G Media.

The RISE Awards, managed by RVBusiness Editor Bruce Hampson and Managing Editor Rick Kessler, will present the awards in two categories: OEM and Aftermarket with one winner and four runner-ups in each category. Suppliers will be limited to a total of three entries, although individual products can be entered in both categories.

The RISE Award winners will be selected from an array of supplier-nominated entries following a review by a select industry panel based on innovation, functionality, customer acceptance, competitive impact, performance measures and other criteria. Eligible products are to debut between Jan. 1 and Dec. 14, 2018, the cut-off date for product nominations.

The RV Industry Awards are designed as an inclusive platform highlighting the hard work and contributions of individuals and organizations making a difference throughout the entire industry. In addition to the RISE awards recognizing suppliers, there will be other awards presented by the RV Industry Association and RVDA recognizing dealers, manufacturers, repair service centers, campgrounds and the 40 Under 40.

The entire 2019 RV Industry Awards platform will be announced in the coming weeks along with application and submission information for individual awards.
