April RV Shipments up 9.5%
The RV Industry Association reported RV shipments increased 9.5% in April compared to April 2023. The association’s manufacturer survey reported RV shipments ended the month with 34,197 units compared to 31,216 in April 2023.
RVIA President and CEO Craig Kirby said the association is “encouraged by the continued incremental increases” its seen in the past six months.
Towable RVs, led by conventional travel trailers, ended the month up 14.2% with 30,682 shipments, while motorhome shipments were down -19.4% compared to last April with 3, 512 units shipped. Park Model RV shipments were also down -6.2% compared to last April with 453 wholesale shipments.
RV shipments are up 9.4% compared to the same time frame last year with 120,138 units shipped through April.
