Faulkner found the contest on Facebook and thought it would be a neat prize. She entered, but she didn’t think she would win. She was very surprised to get the call letting her know that she won. She told her husband, Gary, who asked if she was sure.

“We were excited!,” Faulkner said. “We took a road trip to come and get it and we’re super thrilled.”

The new RV means the couple will be going on more camping adventures.

“It is the first time we will be using an RV. We went camping one time before and it was a horrible experience because the tent was just on the flat ground, no cushion or anything and we had wild creatures and I got chased by a longhorn and I said I’m never going camping again…but with this…so much better. I’d be excited to do it,” she said.

Keystone RV Center and Forest River partnered for the first time to offer the giveaway. The team at the dealership in Greencastle, Pennsylvania explained the tent camper features and showed the couple how to fold it down and put it back up.

Erin Gedicke, marketing supervisor, Keystone RV Center, explained why the company was excited to partner Forest River to sponsor the giveaway this year.

“We proudly sell Flagstaff travel trailers and fifth wheels,” she said. “They are a great brand. We love to work with them and when we got the opportunity to partner with them to do the giveaway, we were really excited. From everything we heard the popup giveaway was very well received. We got a lot of participation and excitement about that and we’re really happy that it’s going to a lady that seems ecstatic to have a new popup.”

Falkner says Pale Face Park in Texas will be the first place they will take the RV.

“This is so neat," Faulkner said. "It’s a neat little camper, instead of going in a tent on the ground. This is wonderful. I’m thrilled.”
