Registration Opens June 1st for Education Days & Industry Preview Day

Dexter Axle training in 2024Get in your training and see the newest RVs, products and services at America’s Largest RV Show®, September 8 - 9 in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Registration for Education Days and Industry Preview Day begins Sunday, June 1.

The Pennsylvania Recreation Vehicle and Camping Association (PRVCA) will present Education Days September 8-9 and Industry Preview Day on September 9 at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pa.

The association has lined up a great schedule of training for RV technicians, including advanced training.

Mike Sokol, RV Electricity, will offer a session on solar, battery and inverters from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, September 8, at the Giant Center. He returns on Tuesday, September 9 to offer Essential RV Troubleshooting from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hershey Lodge.

Chris Dougherty will present RV Electrical Refresher for RV Technicians for Levels 2 and 4 on Monday, September 8. Technicians will have the opportunity to take a test following the show to obtain 4 continuing education units (CEUs).

Bill Snider, Dexter Axle, provides a course on Servicing RV Spring Axles & Electric Brakes (Level 2 refresher) on Monday, September 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Technicians can obtain 6 CEUs upon successful completion of the knowledge test, which is administered following the training.

Monday’s training sessions will also feature training on WFCO Technologies, Dometic Furnaces (RVTI Level 3), RV Weight and Tire Safety by the RV Safety and Education Foundation; and Michael T. Keller, Keller Marine & RV, will present Connecting to the Customer.

On Tuesday, September 9, PRVCA offers another full day of training. Alex Lung of Xantrex will present RV technician training on Lithium batteries, solar, inserters and chargers from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Chris Dougherty returns with a session on RV propane systems (refresher course) from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Participants can earn 4 CEUs upon completion of a knowledge test.

Lippert will offer its Furrion Refrigerator and Air Conditioner Training from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. RV Technicians can earn 6 CEUs upon successful completion of a knowledge test.

Bill Snider, Dexter Axle, will teach a course on Dexter Axle Advanced Axle Suspension and Brake Service (Level 3 chassis) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Giant Center. RV Technicians can earn 6 CEUs upon successful completion of a knowledge test.

MORryde International will present MORryde RVTI Level 3 Technician Training. This training session will count towards 2 hours of RVTI Level 3 credits in the Chassis Specialist category. Topics will focus on Suspension & Running Gear Upgrades, Entry Step Systems, and X-Brace Stabilizers.

Cummins will offer its RV Generator and Engine Technician Training from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. The instructor will review new technology and provide the proper maintenance and operation of the generators and engines to share with customers.

The training is free for PRVCA members. Non-members can also attend for a fee.

On Tuesday, September 9, America’s Largest RV Show® opens for a special industry preview from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nearly 1,500 new RVs will be on display from more than 40 manufacturers. This is your opportunity to talk to your manufacturer’s representatives and see the new 2026 layouts, designs and technology. There are also booth vendors offering accessories, parts, products, campgrounds and vacation destinations. Network and see the latest products and services for the RV industry.
