REV Group, Inc. announced the sale of Lance Camper Manufacturing Corp., its travel trailer and truck camper manufacturing business to Vision Kore Inc. on June 26.

Vision Kore is owned by William “Bill” Rex, an industry veteran, who started out working for Dolphin Camper Company and Establishment Industries. In 1986, he co-founded Rexhall Industries, which produced Airex motorhomes. He eventually sold his Lancaster, California production facility to BYD Bus and Coach and became their president and general manager. After retiring, he later returned to the industry for a tenure as president of the EV Bus and Motor-home Division at Imperium Motor Company. He started Vision Kore Inc. with his son Paul Rex and friend Matthew Koverman.

“Lance Camper is an iconic brand of campers and trailers, and we are thrilled that it’s joining the Vision Kore family,” said Bill Rex, co-founder, of Vision Kore in a press release. “We look forward to welcoming and working with the talented Lance Camper team led by Gary Conley who’s been with Lance over 40 years, building on the foundation laid by REV Group and continuing to serve the brand’s loyal customer base.”

Bill Rex recently talked with Gordon White of Truck Camper Magazine about his vision for the company. See the article in truckcampermagazine.com.
