Lizard Creek Campground in Lehighton, Pennsylvania closed for the season and is taking advantage of the beautiful weather to finish some upgrades to the property.

Owners Jennifer and Todd Johnson removed old decks and repaired the rock wall, allowing them to create four more premium campsites, which will open May 1, 2027.

The campground opens on Friday, April 2, 2027 with its stocked trout creek just in time for the opening day of trout fishing on April 3. Campers can fish from the campground with a fishing license. Lizard Creek Campground is taking reservations for the 2027 season on its website at lizardcreekpa.com.
