Members of the Huntingdon County Planning Commission reviewed and approved comments for updated plans for a campground in Clay Township Thursday evening.

Anderson Rail Campground, which is located along the East Broad Top rail line in Clay Township, is between Three Springs and Saltillo, and plans call for 17 RV lots, an 8,000-square-foot boat storage building, a bathhouse and office, a volleyball court, cornhole court, parking spaces, stormwater and utilities. The two lots cover about 18 acres of land and plans call for 7.344 acres of earth disturbance.

Huntingdon County Planning and Development Department director Laurie Nearhood told the planning commission they saw a version of these plans a couple of years ago; however, the updated plans were a lot more detailed.
