November RV Shipment Up 2.8%
The RV Industry Association (RVIA) reported RV shipments were up 2.8% in November compared to November 2022. In November 2023, 25,160 units shipped, compared to 24,470 shipped in November 2022. Shipments are down -38.4% for the year with 291,652 units.
Towable RVs, led by conventional travel trailers, were up 4.4% from the previous year with 21,429 shipments, while motorhomes finished the month down -5.4% compared to November 2022 with 3,731 units shipped.
Park model RVs were also down -17.5% compared to November 2022 with 325 wholesale shipments.
According to RVIA President and CEO Craig Kirby, the industry is seeing positive signs for 2024, which point to increases in RV shipments and retail sales.
