Registration is open for Education Days and the America’s Largest RV Show® Preview set for September 9-10 at the GIANT CenterSM  in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The RV industry is welcome to attend this two-day event held prior to the show opening for consumers.

“The RV industry can pack a lot into two days,” says Heather Leach, executive director of the Pennsylvania Recreation Vehicle and Camping Association. “There are two full days of training for RV technicians; time for manufacturers and dealers to hold meetings and their own training; and the show preview, where the industry unveils its newest RV models, products and services.”

On Monday, September 9, Dexter Axle will kick off the education sessions with a level 2 refresher course on servicing RV axles and spring suspensions from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mike Sokol, RV Electricity, will discuss lithium and solar in his session from 11 a.m. to 4 .m. Chris Dougherty, Dougherty Consulting, and Trey Selman, RV Safety Education Foundation, will provide training on RV weight, tires and matching the correct towing vehicle to travel trailers and 5th wheels. Xantrex will offer training on its products from 12 noon to 1 p.m.

Lunch will be provided during the longer training sessions.

On Tuesday, September 10, Cummins will provide training on proper maintenance for its engines and generators. The trainer will offer the proper tools to use and provide demonstrations of its newest products from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dexter Axle is back to offer its level 3 advanced training from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Lippert’s trainer will offer two sessions on its slide-outs and leveling systems from 10 – 11 a.m. and 11 a.m. – 12 noon. The sessions will cover operation, general maintenance and trouble shooting.

From 12:30 – 4:30 p.m., RV Solar Connections will cover Victron Systems, RV Solar and Lithium Batteries. The seminar will cover these systems for mobile applications.

Keller Marine & RV professional will offer a training session on inventory management to help reduce costs from 4 to 5 p.m.

Mike Sokol of RV Electricity will offer Advanced A/C D/C troubleshooting from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This session will be held at the Hershey Lodge.

On Tuesday, September 10, the industry can attend an exclusive preview of America’s Largest RV Show®. The show is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with more than 1,500 new RVs from 38 manufacturers. There a more than 170 booth vendors with RV parts, accessories, services, campground and vacation destinations. It’s a great opportunity to see the 2025 models, network and meet with manufacturer representatives.
