(Fairfax, VA) – RVDA’s Convention/Expo Committee is seeking workshop proposals for the 2024 RV Dealers Convention/Expo, Nov. 11-15 at Paris Las Vegas. The committee-selected workshops will be held Tuesday, Nov. 12 through Friday, Nov. 15. Review the request for proposal document on the convention website for this year’s in-demand topics, submission guidelines, and link to the submission portal

As the premier networking and education-focused event for North American RV dealers and dealership professionals, the event will feature 45 and 60-minute concurrent “tracked” non-promotional workshops for dealership principals, general managers, and top-performers in parts, service, F&I, sales, digital marketing, and business development centers.

In-demand topics for the committee-selected workshops include:

·       Dealer/GM

o   Talent management: how to retain top employees

o   Effective communication and collaboration: department to department, location to location

o   Artificial Intelligence (AI): Practical applications/strategies for RV dealers

·       Legislation, and Compliance

o   Marketing and advertising compliance issues: what do recent FTC enforcement actions mean for RV dealers? (i.e., junk fees and illegal discrimination)

o   Labor Law - overtime, injury, and illness rules, plus worker classification

o   Dealer data and digital issues (issues when consumer order vehicles online, safeguards rule, state privacy laws, OEM data sharing principles, ransomware)

·       Fixed Operations (Parts, Warranty and Service)

o   What are the strategies and tactics top performing service departments employ to improve RECT?

o   Best practices to elevate service to industry-leading standards

o   Management strategies to expand service facilities/capacity

o   Parts & accessories – winning strategies for competing with Internet-based companies

o   Innovative training practices: what top performing companies do differently to retain talent

·       Digital Marketing/BDC/Social Media

o   Working with social media influencers

o   Content marketing: what is it, why it is so useful, how to create the content – quickly and cost effectively!

o   Reputation management

·       Business Innovation (Sales & F&I)

o   Closing the sale in the age of well-informed customers (appropriate for sales & F&I personnel)

o   Set yourself apart: creating your dealership’s competitive advantage

o   Building relationships with your customers

o   Seamless integration: sales & F&I

The committee welcomes submissions from “in-the-trenches” training professionals, consultants, dealership professionals, vendors, and others who support the RV industry.

The convention is sponsored by RVDA - the National RV Dealers Association, RVDA of Canada, and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center.

Follow these steps to submit your proposal
