RV Dealers AssociationArtificial intelligence (AI) is creating new opportunities for RV dealers to quickly respond to customer inquiries, schedule service appointments and generate new revenues. However, finding the balance between technology – and where employee inputs remain essential – can be difficult to manage.

To help RV dealers find answers to these questions RVDA and Lahzo are hosting “Finding the Right Balance Between AI and Your People” on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2026, at 2 p.m. Eastern. To register for this free event, please click here.

The 30-minute webinar will discuss how RV dealerships can strategically incorporate AI into their sales and customer engagement processes without losing the personal relationships and dealership culture that contribute to long-term customer loyalty. The session will explore practical applications for AI throughout the RV buying journey including:

  • After-Hours Coverage: Responding to customer inquiries when dealership employees are unavailable.
  • Speed to Lead: Improving response times and reducing the likelihood buyers will move on to another dealership.
  • Lead Qualification: Gathering relevant information about prospective customers, their interests and purchasing intentions before connecting them with a salesperson.
  • Landmines Checklist – Avoiding common mistakes using AI and overcoming resistance among dealership staff.

“AI is creating new opportunities for RV dealerships to improve many aspects of dealership operations,” said Phil Ingrassia, RVDA President. “The key is understanding how to incorporate these tools in a way that complements the experience and expertise of dealership employees.”

“Phil’s point about pairing new tools with the expertise of dealership teams is exactly right, and it’s the principle we build around,” said Brad Shepard, CEO at Lahzo. “Your best reps will always own the customer relationship. Our job is to make sure that when a buyer reaches out at 8 PM on a Saturday, they get a helpful answer instead of a wait, and your rep picks up the conversation with the context already in hand.”
