Sales Licenses Now Printable from Department of State PALS System
The Pennsylvania Department of State Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs recently announced licensees can now download and print license certificates.
Licenses also now include a QR code that will take the user to the PA Licensing System Verification page, www.pals.pa.gov/verify for the viewer to see real-time information about the license.
Licenses will still be printed and mailed to licensees, including the new format, when a new license is issued, a change is made to the license, or the license is renewed. If a duplicate is needed, licensees will be able to download and print their own copy of the license without the need to contact the Department of State or pay a re-print fee.
Licensees can print licenses at www.pals.pa.gov by logging into their account and clicking the Download button next to the license number in the Professional License Details section of the dashboard.
If the license was issued, reactivated, or last renewed before May 31, 2024, the system will require 24 hours to generate a downloadable copy of the license, and the licensee will be notified on the dashboard when printing is possible. If the license was issued, reactivated, or renewed after May 31, 2024, the license will be accessible for download the day after the license is issued, reactivated, or renewed.
Dealerships required to maintain a copy of their employee’s licenses will also have the ability to bulk print those licenses through the company dashboard. Dealers can click the “Download” button next to the licenses they wish to print in the Relationships/Association section of their dashboard. The bulk print option will require a 24-hour waiting period. Employers will be notified when the licenses are available to print.
